One Cumberland is thrilled to announce that The Marietta Daily Journal has joined as a stage sponsor for their inaugural Cumberland Art Festival, presented by Genuine Parts Company. The festival, which is the first of its kind for the region, will take place October 17 and 18 at Galleria on the Park.
“With this partnership, The Marietta Daily Journal is cementing its commitment to elevate the Cumberland District by helping bring together artists, performers, residents, visitors, the local creative community, and much more to experience Cumberland in a fun and memorable way,” said Kim Menefee, Executive Director for the Cumberland Community Improvement District and One Cumberland. “Events like these solidify Cumberland as an area where people can live, work, and visit. We are grateful to have the support from this important community partner.”
As part of the sponsorship, The Marietta Daily Journal and Times Journal Media Group will support the festival through print, digital, e-newsletter, and editorial promotion. The network of publications will extend the event’s reach across Cobb County and into the broader Metro Atlanta area ahead of opening day.
Based in Cobb County, The Marietta Daily Journal has been a staple in the community for 160 years, bringing quality journalism to Cobb County and beyond. Additionally, Piedmont Realty Trust is the host sponsor of the festival. Festival support is provided by Splash Festivals, Inc.
